What 97% does—and does not—mean
RTP is a theoretical return measured over a very large sample of wagers. At 97%, the mathematical house edge is 3%. It does not mean every 100 wagered returns 97 in one session. A player can finish far above or below the long-run average.
Why the variant matters
Across 10,000 in total wagers, the theoretical edge is 300 at 97%, 400 at 96% and 600 at 94%. That gap is meaningful over repeated play, even though short-term variance can hide it.
